Hello girls, it’s been a long time since my last post. I haven’t been much active on social media too. The reason is I shifted to Pune recently and it is a wonderful place. I was really busy with packing, booking tickets, finding a flat to stay etc. Today, I can finally sit down with a cup of coffee and blog. For someone like me, who wait for weekends to come so that I could sleep the whole day, going out to  shop seems like a big task too, no matter whether I need to shop groceries or something of my interest, like clothes and makeup. Thank god, online shopping is just the right thing for a girl like me.

Let us see how my shopping experience with Aplava was. I’ll be giving my views in relation to various segments and procedure of my shopping .

• Navigation: Aplava has a fairly simple website, easy to navigate and shop online. There are number of local and international brands to shop from. You can shop category wise from the drop down menu at the top where the navigation bar is located. You can also directly search for a product by typing its name at the search bar.
• Registration: Creating an account is super easy, once your account is created by filling in your personal details, you can take the personal profile quiz to help the site recommend products based on your needs and preferences
• Ordering Procedure: The ordering procedure is also easy, choose the products and add them to the cart, fill in the address details and make the payment via Debit card/ Credit card/ Net Banking or by opting for cash on delivery. I ordered two products-

1. Faces Magnetic Eyes Kajal
2. Vichy Normaderm Night Detox Cream

This cream is one of the best face cream for women with dark spots on face.

• Delivery: The delivery process was very smooth. The products got delivered in less than a week’s time and the packaging was very good too. Overall I was happy that I got both the products unhampered and securely packed.

Okay, so after a really long time, I am finally reviewing a website. Recently, I got to shop online from limeroad.com. Anyways, being a beauty blogger I couldn’t resist myself from browsing the makeup section. They have a good collection of makeup, haircare, and skincare products and most of them are available at discounted price. Coming to my order, I added three items to my cart which included a full coverage padded bra from Tweens, a lip gloss from newly launched Streetwear range and a nail polish remover from Colorbar. My Shopping Experience: I was so tempted by the pretty pink look of the website that i couldn’t stop myself from surfing the website for 2 long hours before placing the order. I was skeptical since this was my first purchase from the website. So, I ordered a padded bra from Lovable which was going on a discount. I thought of opting for COD but since they charge Rs. 50 for shipping on all orders below Rs. 750 and another 50 bucks COD, I paid through my debit card.

Ordering was quite hassle free, you need to select your products and add to the shopping cart. Create an account for faster checkout and fill in your shipping details, choose the mode of payment and place your order. Once your order has been placed , you get a confirmation message on your phone along with a mail.

I placed my order on Friday, 12th September and it was shipped on the same day through FedEx courier service. Though my order was supposed to be delivered on Saturday 13th September, but due to some issue they could not reach my address. I called prettysecrets customer care on Monday morning asking them to contact FedEx and get my parcel delivered. They assured me that the parcel will be delivered by the next day. Anyhow, I got my parcel that evening itself, well packed and sealed carefully.

I loved how the product was packed, there was no mention of what was inside the package. The parcel came in a pretty pink cardboard box with prettysecrets logo on the top. On opening the box, I found the bra was wrapped in paper. Inside the paper was my bra wrapped securely in a plastic cover with tags intact. The fitting and material was perfect. Overall I am very happy with my first purchase and would like to shop again with prettysecrets.com :).

My Mini Maybelline Haul & Flipkart.com Website Review

Hello peeps, I’m back with another online shopping experience, this time with flipkart.com. I got a gift voucher of Rs.500 from dealstan blogging contest and as expected, I headed straight to flipkart’s beauty category. I always wanted to try a gel eyeliner so i chose Maybelline lasting drama gel liner in black and as there was still 50 bucks left, I added some more amount to it and ordered Maybelline hyper curl volume express mascara.

I placed my order on 11th May, Sunday. As soon as my order got confirmed, I got an email and text message confirming the same. I received both the products in different date. I was given a tracking number within 24 hours.The Maybelline lasting drama gel liner delivered to me on 16th May, 2014 and the Maybelline hyper curl volume express mascara on 17th May, 2014. Both the items came in perfect condition and were securely wrapped. On receiving the orders,I received another mail and text message confirming the delivery. Here are the pics below.

 

Sorry, I forgot to click  pictures of the second package containing the mascara as my exam was going on. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and will love to shop with them again.

Hello peeps, Hope you all are doing well. Finally my exams are over and I can give some quality time to my blog now. The last few posts published In the blog was per-scheduled due to my exams. But that didn’t stop me from shopping online. While searching a perfect MLBB shade I came across the reviews of Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick in Coffee Command and I was pretty much sure that the shade would work well for my skin. When I planned to buy it online, I saw very few website selling that particular shade, snapdeal.com was one of them. I have purchased coupons from them before but buying something from their website was new for me. Read on to know about my experience below:

I placed my order on 28th May, 2014. They have multiple payment options like payment through credit card, debit card or net banking. As soon as they confirmed the order, I got a message both in my phone and in email. The product was shipped a day later and I received it on 4th June, 2014. The item was securely packed and bubble wrapped and came in a prefect condition.

They sent me another text message and email after the delivery was done. I’m too happy with my purchase  and it has been a totally hassle free shopping experience with them. I’m happy with the shade I purchased and it is my perfect MLBB shade now.  I’ll be reviewing the lipstick in some other post soon.

My Experience with Healthkart.com: After surfing their clearance sale section, I found that they are  giving good discounts on few combos. I ordered Deborah Milano Combo Kit-10. The combo contained Deborah Milano Kajal+ Rossetto Light Creator Shine & volume 4+7 Days Long 826+Volume Sprint Mascara Nero Black. I also got a cute pouch with the kit.

I placed the order on 13th February & opted for cash-on-delivery. The website is easy to navigate & placing my order was hassle free. After you place an order, you need to confirm it by giving a missed call at their number provided in the website. Once you confirm, you’ll recieve a mail with the details of your order. They keep informing you about the status of your order through mail My order was shipped on 14 th February via Delhivery courier services. I called them up on 17th morning & they told me that I’ll receive the parcel by afternoon. Around 2 p.m. the delivery boy came with my parcel.

The parcel came in a cardboard box secured tightly with cello tapes, The invoice was attached with the package itself. Inside the package, there was my Deborah Milano combo kit protected by an air cushion.

Yay! I was so happy! All the products were in good condition.

I’ll review each product soon.

Hello girls. I’m lazy about everything, well, blogging is an exception :D. I love the term ”Home Delivery”  or rather ”Free Home Delivery”. I know a lot of people like me wish that everything could be purchased with the click of a mouse but unfortunately we are not that fortunate enough, are we? Click on the category you want to shop, click on “Add to bag” written against each product and the selected items gets added to your shopping bag. You can register at their website for faster check out or you can shop as guest user too. They have alot of payment option like Visa, Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking & Cash On Delivery. My shopping experience with purplle.com: After reading mostly negative reviews about the website, I still wanted to try them. I skeptically placed an order  for 5 items on 7th January around 8:00p.m. & opted for COD. I got a mail immediately to confirm my order & after confirmation they shipped the products on 9th January through Javas courier service & provided me a tracking number.

In between I called them up on 8th January & they told me one of the product is unavailable & it will be shipped as soon as they get hold of it. On 10th January I got 4 of my products ordered. They were packed well in cardboard box with purplle.com logo on it & securely wrapped in bubble wraps.

On 11th January the 5th product was shipped again through Javas courier service & I received my parcel on 13th January (Yep, the day I started my blog!).

Their sevice was prompt & fine. I loved their website & their service & I’ll love to
shop with them again. I have reviewed the Jovees products before Here, Here & Here & will review the makeup brushes soon.
