Hello people. The temperature in Pune is more than 40 degrees and I don’t feel like going out in the morning because my skin literally starts burning the moment  I step out of my house. But I have to step out anyway because WORK!!  Stuck between work pressure and surprising the guy, I decided to order something for him online. While browsing, I came across this online gifting website called igp.com. I found the website really cool.

My Experience: The website gives option to choose gifts by category like flowers, personalized gifts, cakes, hampers etc along with option to gift by occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, mothers day gifts or by recipients like gits for mom, gifts for dad, gifts for teens etc which makes it easier to filter and shortlist products as per your preference. The website has various gifting options for different budgets. Another wonderful feature of IGP is that you can buy gifts according to people’s personality like gifts for geek teens or gits for romantic men.

Since there was no special reason or occasion for me to gift, I went ahead to explore the gourmets section  which again had sub-categories. I picked up a combo hamper of Danish Butter Cookies with Blueberry Intense Lindt Bar.

I picked up another gift while browsing their online gift store, which was a Happy Love Figurative Couple. The combo hamper reached next day of placing the order, the packing was good but what disappointed me was that the cookies were almost nearing their expiry date and didn’t tasted too well. The chocolate however was good. The showpiece came two days later and to my surprise I found the size much bigger than my expectation and oh my! the couple looked so cute.

I also added a personal note which did not got delivered with any of the gifts, sadly. My guy was definitely happy with this sudden surprise gifts. It was overall a pleasant experience and with the upcoming occasions this year, I am definitely going to purchase from them again.

My Shopping Experience at Aplava.com

Hello girls, it’s been a long time since my last post. I haven’t been much active on social media too. The reason is I shifted to Pune recently and it is a wonderful place. I was really busy with packing, booking tickets, finding a flat to stay etc. Today, I can finally sit down with a cup of coffee and blog. For someone like me, who wait for weekends to come so that I could sleep the whole day, going out to  shop seems like a big task too, no matter whether I need to shop groceries or something of my interest, like clothes and makeup. Thank god, online shopping is just the right thing for a girl like me.

 

Recently, I came across this website called aplava.com where you can find online beauty products from a number of local as well as international brands. You can shop category wise from the drop down menu at the top where the navigation bar is located. You can also directly search for a product by typing its name at the search bar.
• Registration: Creating an account is super easy, once your account is created by filling in your personal details, you can take the personal profile quiz to help the site recommend products based on your needs and preferences
• Ordering Procedure: The ordering procedure is also easy, choose the products and add them to the cart, fill in the address details and make the payment via Debit card/ Credit card/ Net Banking or by opting for cash on delivery. I ordered two products-

1. Faces Magnetic Eyes Kajal
2. Vichy Normaderm Night Detox Cream

This cream is one of the best face cream for women with dark spots on face.

• Delivery: The delivery process was very smooth. The products got delivered in less than a week’s time and the packaging was very good too. Overall I was happy that I got both the products unhampered and securely packed.

Shopping at Limeroad.com: My Experience

Hello peeps! Here’s a new month and I am back with a new post. It has been really long since I have posted about my online shopping experience. Few days back, I was getting bored at work so thought of checking out some online stores. I came across Limeroad, which most of you know is a very popular site for online shopping. There is a search bar on the top of the site to help you look for anything in the store along with various categorized items like clothing, footwear, bags just below it.

Since I was determined to buy a bag, I clicked on the bag section and started browsing. They have a huge collection of items starting from as low as 200 bucks only! For me, I wanted a bag which would be spacious and simple looking. After looking for few minutes, I chose a leatherette  handbag from the brand Lengloy.

I loved the light green color of the bag and the simple and clean look with lots of space inside to carry regular stuffs. The checkout process was hassle free and I got my order delivered to me within 3 working days which was really very fast.

I loved the packaging, They have packed my handbag in multiple layers so that there is no damage. They also include a printed invoice of your order for reference. My Shopping Experience: I was so tempted by the pretty pink look of the website that i couldn’t stop myself from surfing the website for 2 long hours before placing the order. I was skeptical since this was my first purchase from the website. So, I ordered a padded bra from Lovable which was going on a discount. I thought of opting for COD but since they charge Rs. 50 for shipping on all orders below Rs. 750 and another 50 bucks COD, I paid through my debit card.

Ordering was quite hassle free, you need to select your products and add to the shopping cart. Create an account for faster checkout and fill in your shipping details, choose the mode of payment and place your order. Once your order has been placed , you get a confirmation message on your phone along with a mail.

I placed my order on Friday, 12th September and it was shipped on the same day through FedEx courier service. Though my order was supposed to be delivered on Saturday 13th September, but due to some issue they could not reach my address. I called prettysecrets customer care on Monday morning asking them to contact FedEx and get my parcel delivered. They assured me that the parcel will be delivered by the next day. Anyhow, I got my parcel that evening itself, well packed and sealed carefully.

I loved how the product was packed, there was no mention of what was inside the package. The parcel came in a pretty pink cardboard box with prettysecrets logo on the top. On opening the box, I found the bra was wrapped in paper. Inside the paper was my bra wrapped securely in a plastic cover with tags intact. The fitting and material was perfect. Overall I am very happy with my first purchase and would like to shop again with prettysecrets.com :).

Hello peeps, I’m back with another online shopping experience, this time with flipkart.com. I got a gift voucher of Rs.500 from dealstan blogging contest and as expected, I headed straight to flipkart’s beauty category. I always wanted to try a gel eyeliner so i chose Maybelline lasting drama gel liner in black and as there was still 50 bucks left, I added some more amount to it and ordered Maybelline hyper curl volume express mascara.

I was given a tracking number within 24 hours.The Maybelline lasting drama gel liner delivered to me on 16th May, 2014 and the Maybelline hyper curl volume express mascara on 17th May, 2014. Both the items came in perfect condition and were securely wrapped. On receiving the orders,I received another mail and text message confirming the delivery. Here are the pics below.

 

Sorry, I forgot to click  pictures of the second package containing the mascara as my exam was going on. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and will love to shop with them again.

I have heard a lot about them so decided to go forward and shop with them and besides that I love online shopping so much especially when it comes to buying makeup . Read on to know about my shopping experience at nykaa.

My shopping experience with nykaa.com:I placed my order with them on 9th May 2014 and opted to pay through my debit card. Here is the snapshot of the products I ordered. Since I placed my order of Friday, I got a Maybelline Colorama nail paint as a free gift.

The checkout process was easy. Just fill in your details, choose your payment option and you are done! I got a confirmation mail after placing the order successfully and one after the product has been shipped. I got a tracking number to track my products from time to time. The order got delivered to me on 15th May 2014.

All the products were bubble wrapped and was securely packed. Out of all the products, I found the Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadow was going to expire this December.

I called up the customer care next day and they said they can replace it once the fresh product come in stock. I waited for few more days and called them up again on 28th May 2014. This time, they told me that Maybelline has stopped manufacturing their Color Tattoo eyeshadow (uh really?) and I can keep the product with me and use it until expiry and they will refund the amount charged for it. I got the refund within 24 hours of processing. Their customer service was professional and they were very co-operative too. Overall I am very happy with my hassle free shopping experience. I am looking forward to shop with them again.

Hello peeps, Hope you all are doing well. Finally my exams are over and I can give some quality time to my blog now. The last few posts published In the blog was per-scheduled due to my exams. But that didn’t stop me from shopping online. While searching a perfect MLBB shade I came across the reviews of Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick in Coffee Command and I was pretty much sure that the shade would work well for my skin. I think they do not have a fixed least amount to avail free shipping on products unlike other websites. Again that may differ from merchant to merchant and your area. I was not in a plan to buy too many items so I simply ordered Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick in Coffee Command and opted for cash-on-delivery.

I placed my order on 28th May, 2014. They have multiple payment options like payment through credit card, debit card or net banking. As soon as they confirmed the order, I got a message both in my phone and in email. The product was shipped a day later and I received it on 4th June, 2014. The item was securely packed and bubble wrapped and came in a prefect condition.

They sent me another text message and email after the delivery was done. I’m too happy with my purchase  and it has been a totally hassle free shopping experience with them. I’m happy with the shade I purchased and it is my perfect MLBB shade now.  I’ll be reviewing the lipstick in some other post soon.
