Banjara’s Skin Positive Beauty Cream and Body Lotion Review, Price and Usage

Hello girls, I hope you are doing good. Maintaining a flawless skin in summer seems like an impossible task for most of us. The heat and the pollution together give us tanned skin, pimples, rashes and other skin problems. No matter, how much we cover our face with a “dupatta” or wear sunglasses, we somehow end up getting tanned! To help you cope up with the skin problems in this season, Banjara has come up with two revolutionary products that promises to provide you a soft and nourished skin.

It is great to see that they have come up with not one but two products, one is a face cream and another is a body lotion. I have used both recently and here are my views about the products:

1. Banjara’s Skin Positive Beauty Cream

Price: INR 100 for 40 g

Key Ingredients: Olive oil, Glycerine, Yashad Bhasma, Pomegranate fruit extract, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Wheat Germ oil, Provitamin B5

• The product comes in a tube like packaging with a pointed nozzle for the ease of use. The packaging is very convenient to carry around. Whenever I look at the tube, it somehow reminds me of the Fevicol tube :p
• The cream is baby pink in color and has a wonderful fragrance

• The cream is really very lightweight and blends to the skin easily. This cream is non-greasy and hence it is apt to use in summer
• It definitely hydrates skin and keeps it soft and supple and boots cell regeneration. I haven’t experienced any side effects yet.
• It comes with SPF15 and PA+++ protection, so you can use it even when you are going out

2. Banjara’s Skin Postive Body Lotion

Price: INR 80 for 100ml

Key Ingredients: Sunflower oil, Kokum Butter, Shea Butter, Honey, Pomegranate fruit extract, Castor oil,  Yashad Bhasma

• The product comes in a cylindrical container with a flip cap for the ease of use
• The lotion is light pink in color and has a thick consistency
• The fragrance is similar to that of cocoa butter mixed with pomegranate
• The lotion blends well to the skin, however the lotion is very greasy and it is not appropriate to be used during daytime. It is better to use it at night before going to bed in small quantity
• It makes skin soft and nourished on regular usage . I was suffering from skin dryness before to using this lotion. My skin has become  much smoother after continuous use of this body lotion for five days, so it definitely works great on dry skin.

Final Verdict: I think The Banjara’s Skin Positive range works great for dry skin. Both the beauty cream and the body lotion helps to nourish dehydrated skin and protects the skin in harsh weather. However, I think the Banjara’s Skin Positive Beauty cream is overpriced  for the amount of product present in it. If you suffer from dehydrated and dull skin then you must definitely give a try to this new range of products from Banjara’s.

Banjara’s Multani Mitti + Orange Oil Clearing Exfoliating Face Wash Review, Usage and Price

Hi, Durga Puja is around the corner and no wonder all bongs look forward to celebrate the occasion with lots of enthusiasm. This year, things have been a little different and difficult for me. I am working and I am not getting any time to go out and shop. Yes, you heard it right! Only a few days are left for the puja to start and I could manage to find a little time and get only one set of dress for me. I’m at home today but I guess, I have to do the rest of the shopping online because I do not feel like going out today. I know I might not make it to the salon too at the last moment so I have started a regular skincare routine at home itself. I am currently using an exfoliating face wash and I love how it is working on my skin! Read on to know more about it:

Price: 100ml for INR 100

Key ingredients: Multani mitti, Orange peel powder

Method of use: Moisten your face and neck, take ample amount opf the product and massage it gently avoiding the eye area. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Use twice daily for best results.

My take on the product: The product comes in a white tube with an orange flip cap. The packaging is spill proof and leak proof. The face wash has a light orange color and smells like oranges just like the name suggests. I love its fruity fragrance. The face wash is neither too thick nor too runny and when applied on wet skin, it spreads evenly and creates nice foam.

The face wash has micro beads which are also of the same color as the face wash and you cannot distinguish them unless you see them under proper light or feel it on your skin. The beads are very mild on the skin and removes dirt and impurities from within giving a clean and fresh face after every wash.

The face wash is also effective in removing excess oils, dead skin cells and reduces blackheads/whiteheads visibly on regular usage without any side effects like dryness or breakouts. Since it is made up of natural ingredients, it can be used without any worry. Overall I am really impressed with the face wash and will surely repurchase it in future!

Banjara’s 15 Minutes Multani and Saffron Face Pack Review

Hello girls, do you know that multani mitti or fuller’s earth can be used as warm and cold compress to reduce menstrual cramps? Today, I will be reviewing a face pack from Banjara’s that has multani mitti and saffron as the main ingredients. Multani mitti is a boon for oily skin and in summer I love to use such face packs which reduces skin oiliness and improve skin’s texture. Let us look into the details of the face pack:

Price: INR 100 for 100g

Key ingredients: Multani mitti and saffron

What the product claims: Banjara’s 15 minutes face pack with multani and saffron is a unique blend of multani mitti and saffron extracts to give you clear and radiant skin. Multani mitti cleanses the skin, absorbs the excess oil, opens up the pores, reducing pimples, marks and counteracts the effect of tanning to make your skin clear. Saffron lightens the skin, enhances the complexion to make your skin radiant.

Method of use: Wash the face and neck with Banjara’s face wash. Apply evenly on the face and neck, avoiding areas around the eyes and mouth. Allow it to dry for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash off with water. For best results, use it twice a week. Suitable for all skin types.

My take on the product: The face pack comes in a white tube with white flip cap. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly. The face pack has a mild floral fragrance.

I somehow, do not like the fragrance of multani mitti. The pack spreads easily on slightly wet skin. It can be applied on face and neck two-three times a week, kept for 15 minutes and then washed off with clean water.

This face pack removes all the oil from my face making my face radiant and glowing. I haven’t seen any effect on my suntan yet. This face pack suits my skin well and I haven’t experienced any irritation, redness or breakouts on my skin.

Overall, the Banjara’s 15 minutes multani and saffron face pack is a decent and inexpensive face pack to use in summer.

Cons: Does not work on suntan
