Clean and Clear Pimple Clearing Face Wash Review

Hello peeps, most of us suffer from pimples during adolescence. Pimples are worst nightmares for teenagers. Luckily I never had to deal with too much pimples, yes, they do show up sometimes and it is really very annoying. “Clean and Clear Oil Control” face wash has been my HG face wash for years. Last month when I went to get another tube for me, a pretty green packing caught my attention and I bought this new variant of Clean and Clear face wash.

Read on to know whether it really works on pimples:

Price: INR 99 for 80ml

Ingredients: As mentioned at the back of the tube

Method of Use: Apply a small amount on wet palm and work into rich lather. Gently massage onto face, avoiding the eye area. Rinse off thoroughly. Use twice daily for the skin that’s clean, clear and beautiful.

My Take on the Product: The face wash comes in a green tube with a plastic flip cap. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly. The face wash is transparent and consistency is neither too thick nor too runny.

The face wash smells like citrus and I’m in love with its fragrance! On apply to wet face it forms a rich lather. The face wash do not comes off easily and requires to wash thoroughly.

People with dry skin should stay away from this face wash as it will make your skin dry. I have combination skin and whenever I use this face wash, I have to follow-up with a moisturizer to avoid dryness.

Since I do have major pimple problem, I cannot say how it will work on them but this face really works on light pimples but it will take time and won’t show result after first wash as it claims. Pimples gets clearer only after a week of use, so you need to be patient. I’m not sure whether it will work on excess pimples.

Hello everyone, today I am reviewing the Clean & Clear deep action oil control face wash. Did this product live up to my expectations? Read on to know all about it.

Ingredients: Water, Stearic acid, Glycerin, PEG-8, Propylene Glycol, Myristic acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Lauric acid, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100Stearate, Synthetic Beeswax, Triclosan, Fragrance.

Directions for use: Squeeze a small amount on wet palm. As you work into a rich lather, gently massage product all over face, avoiding the eye area. Rinse off thoroughly. Use twice daily for skin that’s clean, clear & beautiful. For oil control on the go, use Clean & Clear oil control film.

What the product claims: Clean & Clear deep action oil control face wash specially designed to clean deep down to pores to help control oil. The unique formula is proven to clean deep down into pores, thoroughly dissolving dirt, oil & make up to keep skin oil-free for up to 8 hours. Also contains Triclosan to help prevent blemishes. Its gentle, clean-rinsing formula is non-drying to skin. Leaves your skin feeling clean & fresh.

My take on the product: While I lost hope almost on all the face wash brands available in my reach, Clean & Clear deep action oil control face wash came to my rescue. It removes dirt and oil from my face and controls oiliness from my face for almost two hours after which my T-zone starts getting oily.

It has a lovely fragrance. It comes in a tube packaging with a plastic flip cap which makes it travel friendly. The product has a creamy texture & is not runny unlike many face washes. I mix it with few drops of water & then apply it on my face.

It lathers well and completely washes off when rinsed with water without leaving any residue & gives me a fresh feeling without making my face dry.

This face wash has become my HG face wash & hopefully I wont be switching to any other face wash as of now.

3) Easily available
4) Resonably priced
5) Packaging is travel friendly

Cons: 1) Contains chemicals in ingredient list.
2) Might not work for people with extremely oily skin.
