My Mini Maybelline Haul & Flipkart.com Website Review

Hello peeps, I’m back with another online shopping experience, this time with flipkart.com. I got a gift voucher of Rs.500 from dealstan blogging contest and as expected, I headed straight to flipkart’s beauty category. I always wanted to try a gel eyeliner so i chose Maybelline lasting drama gel liner in black and as there was still 50 bucks left, I added some more amount to it and ordered Maybelline hyper curl volume express mascara.

My Shopping Experience at Flipkart: Flipkart is among the top and best online shopping sites in India. It initially started as an o line destination for buying books and electronics and eventually expanded as a one stop destination for all your needs. Presently flipkart has in store books section, clothing section, health & beauty section, electronic goods and home & kitchen items. The website is simple and easily navigable. You can find different categories at the top of the homepage. Each category gives you a drop down menu of sub categories.

 

 You can also browse product in sidebar. There is also a separate offer zone and a section featuring “deal of the day” . Simply browse through the range of products available, select the items you need, click on buy now and go ahead to payment.

I placed my order on 11th May, Sunday. As soon as my order got confirmed, I got an email and text message confirming the same. I received both the products in different date. I was given a tracking number within 24 hours.The Maybelline lasting drama gel liner delivered to me on 16th May, 2014 and the Maybelline hyper curl volume express mascara on 17th May, 2014. Both the items came in perfect condition and were securely wrapped. On receiving the orders,I received another mail and text message confirming the delivery. Here are the pics below.

 

Sorry, I forgot to click  pictures of the second package containing the mascara as my exam was going on. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and will love to shop with them again.

Snapdeal.com Website Review & Purchasing My Perfect MLBB Shade

Hello peeps, Hope you all are doing well. Finally my exams are over and I can give some quality time to my blog now. The last few posts published In the blog was per-scheduled due to my exams. But that didn’t stop me from shopping online. While searching a perfect MLBB shade I came across the reviews of Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick in Coffee Command and I was pretty much sure that the shade would work well for my skin. When I planned to buy it online, I saw very few website selling that particular shade, snapdeal.com was one of them. I have purchased coupons from them before but buying something from their website was new for me. Read on to know about my experience below:

My Experience With Snapdeal: Snapdeal.com is a one stop online shopping site for a variety of products to meet your day-to-day needs. The website is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. You will find most of the products in a discounted rate plus they run offers on various categories all through the year. I think they do not have a fixed least amount to avail free shipping on products unlike other websites. Again that may differ from merchant to merchant and your area. I was not in a plan to buy too many items so I simply ordered Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick in Coffee Command and opted for cash-on-delivery.

I placed my order on 28th May, 2014. They have multiple payment options like payment through credit card, debit card or net banking. As soon as they confirmed the order, I got a message both in my phone and in email. The product was shipped a day later and I received it on 4th June, 2014. The item was securely packed and bubble wrapped and came in a prefect condition.

They sent me another text message and email after the delivery was done. I’m too happy with my purchase  and it has been a totally hassle free shopping experience with them. I’m happy with the shade I purchased and it is my perfect MLBB shade now.  I’ll be reviewing the lipstick in some other post soon.

Purplle.com Haul, Shopping Experience & Review

Hello girls. I’m lazy about everything, well, blogging is an exception :D. I love the term ”Home Delivery”  or rather ”Free Home Delivery”. I know a lot of people like me wish that everything could be purchased with the click of a mouse but unfortunately we are not that fortunate enough, are we? But we can shop online, a variety of stuffs, right from gadgets to baby diapers :D. This is why I love online shopping. I have been shopping online from Indian websites for a year now. I love ordering stuffs from new sites & check their services.

About the website: So, recently I came across this website called Purplle.com. It offers a wide range of products including skin care, hair care, makeup, personal grooming, bath & body & lot more. It features these List of brands. I have used their customized mobile site for shopping. They provide discounts on almost every product & they have a section full of offers too! Click on the category you want to shop, click on “Add to bag” written against each product and the selected items gets added to your shopping bag. You can register at their website for faster check out or you can shop as guest user too. They have alot of payment option like Visa, Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking & Cash On Delivery. Free COD is for product worth Rs.799 below which you have to pay delivery charge of Rs. 49.

My shopping experience with purplle.com: After reading mostly negative reviews about the website, I still wanted to try them. I skeptically placed an order  for 5 items on 7th January around 8:00p.m. & opted for COD. I got a mail immediately to confirm my order & after confirmation they shipped the products on 9th January through Javas courier service & provided me a tracking number.

In between I called them up on 8th January & they told me one of the product is unavailable & it will be shipped as soon as they get hold of it. On 10th January I got 4 of my products ordered. They were packed well in cardboard box with purplle.com logo on it & securely wrapped in bubble wraps.

On 11th January the 5th product was shipped again through Javas courier service & I received my parcel on 13th January (Yep, the day I started my blog!).

Their sevice was prompt & fine. I loved their website & their service & I’ll love to
shop with them again. I have reviewed the Jovees products before Here, Here & Here & will review the makeup brushes soon.

Pros: 1) Website is easy to navigate
2) Smooth checkout process
3) Lots of payment options including COD.
4) Most of the products are sold at discounted rates.
5) Numerous brands to choose from.
