IndiBlogger Launches to Help Businesses with Content Marketing

Blogging is fun. It brings out your creativity and you can also deliver something unique to your readers. Bloggers actually act as opinion leaders in many cases and influence you in more than one way. For all my blogger friends, we are well aware of press releases. Everyday, our inbox get flooded with so many press releases from different brands. Press releases help us to know about recent events and new launches by different brand. By sharing them on our blog, we help our readers to stay up to date with different brand activities too. But the only problem is, we bloggers, have no control on what type of press release we are being sent. For example, I have a beauty and lifestyle blog and I’m asked to post about a press release on the CSR activity of an organization, my readers wouldn’t be able to connect with it.


Indiblogger, a popular blogging community in India has recently launched, that help businesses get their press releases published by top bloggers. All they have to do is to upload their Press Release and the ‘Automated Influencer Targeting Engine’, or ‘AITE’ feature, proceeds to accept applications and  then automatically shortlist bloggers based on various criteria including internal ratings and rankings. Once shortlisted, the influencers/bloggers do their research and publish their articles. One of the main issues that most marketers face when working with influencers/ bloggers is the cumbersome process associated with identifying and targeting each influencer. If your press release goes to the wrong person, chances are those will never get published. But has made this task very simple. Bloggers can go through different press releases and apply to publish the one that will be relevant to their blog genre. In this way it saves time for both the marketers and influencers/bloggers.
