Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well! It is the time to make this dream come true. Every women has a Miss India in herself and to flaunt it out all she need is a strong inner confidence, a positive attitude and most importantly, a perfectly flawless skin.

There is no shortcut to a perfectly flawless skin. Usually there are more than one skin problems we have to deal with at a time. A most common skin problem among them are “blackheads”. Blackheads are tiny openings on the skin with blackened mass of skin debris formed due to exposure to air. It results in blocking of the opening of the pores. Blackheads are said to be the first stage of an acne formation. People whose skin tends to be on the oilier side are mostly prone to developing blackheads.

The simplest cure to this problem is keeping skin clean as much as possible. To keep skin clean, everybody should regularly follow a cleansing-toning-moisturizing routine along with scrubbing and occasional treatments. I have listed a five step guide to blackhead elimination below:

Cleansing

Cleansing is the first step of the blackhead elimination process. It is necessary to use an effective yet mild cleanser to deep clean pores and remove dirt and impurities from skin. You should clean your face with a cleanser twice a day. There are different types of cleansers available in market to suit every skin type. It is advised to check the ingredients list before buying for oneself.

Toning

Toning is the second step of the process, toning is an essential part of skin care regime. Toners help to shrink skin pores and tighten skin. Toners usually leaves a cooling sensation on skin after use hence they also help in soothing irritated skin. People with acne prone can use a toner containing salicylic acid.  It is advised to use toner twice a day to get a radiant skin and keep blackheads and acne at bay.

Moisturizing

Moisturizing is another essential step in our regular skin care regime. Moisturizers should not be limited to winters only. Oil free moisturizers are light weight and non greasy and are apt to use throughout the year. Moisturizers nourishes skin from within and makes it soft and supple. To maintain a healthy glow on skin, apply non-comedogenic moisturizer after shower and at night, before going to bed.

Scrubbing

Scrubbing is the most effective part of blackhead removal. Scrubbing helps to remove dirt and impurities that could not be removed by cleansers alone. The minute granules in a scrub works efficiently in removing the tiniest bit of dirt from the skin and unclog skin pores. Scrubbing can be done in every alternate day to keep skin cleans. Remember to apply toner after scrubbing to shrink skin pores.

The treatment may include blackhead warming treatment in which the clogged pores warm up on application and the impurities are removed instantly. The treatment is essential and the effect is long lasting.
